Rev. Tim Lindhorst

I currently work as a Co-Pastor at Atonement Lutheran Church in St Cloud, MN.  I'm married and have two grown children.  I've had success managing my anxiety through my study of Family Systems and continue to believe that if I can manage my anxiety, I can be a more effective leader, husband, and father. My goal is self-differentiation in all the systems in which I operate - family, work, church, & community.

28+ years as a pastor in the SWMN Synod and 18 years of Clergy Seminars with Dr. Larry Foster and 9+ years of teaching theory and I'm still learning. Natural family systems theory continues to teach me about differentiation of self, relationship triangles, sibling position, multi-generational transmission of anxiety, family emotional process, cut-off, societal anxiety, and family projection. These eight concepts have helped me as a leader and have dramatically improved my relationships with family, work, church and community.
